GFWC Delaware Annual Scholarships

GFWC Delaware typically offers two scholarships annually to deserving students in the State of Delaware.

          $2,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior pursuing advanced education

   and

          $1,000 scholarship to a "Non-Traditional Student" which is defined as a student returning to pursue advanced education some time after completing high school

GFWC Delaware will be accepting scholarship applications after October 1, 2024.  The deadline for GFWC Delaware to receive complete applications and supporting documentation is March 20, 2025.  Scholarship winners will be announced in May 2025.

2025 success for survivors scholarship

Since 2011, GFWC has awarded scholarships to help survivors of domestic and sexual violence. This scholarship helps them obtain a post-secondary education that will offer the chance to reshape their future by securing employment and gaining personal independence.  Candidates must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited public or private post-secondary school, including community colleges, technical schools, and four-year universities. 

Scholarships are due to Programs@GFWC.org by February 15, 2025
