2022-2024 GFWC DELAWARE JENNIE AWARD WINNER SELECTED

Starting in September, 2022, all GFWC Delaware clubs had been requested to research and submit their club’s nomination for the Jennie Award by May, 2023.  This prestigious national biennial award is given to a GFWC clubwoman who contributes not only to her family and her club but also to her community.

The application process is detailed and somewhat extensive. With letters of endorsement, it also includes a narrative by the nominee and may include photographs, newspaper clippings, and other items of interest validating the nominee’s accomplishments.

The 2022-2024 GFWC Delaware selection for the Jennie Award is Mindy Goss.  She currently holds the roles as Vice President representing Sussex County and Co-President of the GFWC Women’s Club of Indian River. Her nomination and application will be forwarded to the GFWC Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference held September 28-October 1 to compete with the other states’ nominees in the same conference. Please congratulate Mindy when you next see her! We wish her well on this great journey.
